Our pricing model sets us apart from the crowd. Here at Glitter Cake, you know your total price upfront. Simply select a cake size and you are done. The design, flavors, transportation and setup are included. This model allows you to accurately self-quote your cake and continue to the next vendor. Have your cake and eat it too. 

Absolutely. Our prices are listed and you will be provided an invoice upon booking. You can always chip away at the cost over time. All balances are due 14 before delivery to keep your date. If the final balance is not paid, your order will be cancelled and all funds other than your deposit will be refunded to you.

Yes, Glitter Cake makes birthday, graduation, baby shower, holiday, condolence cakes and more. Please submit an inquiry on our contact page. 

Orders are added to the calendar when the non-refundable deposit is paid. You may lose your date if another customer requests the same date and pays the deposit. Please arrange to pay the deposit timely to reserve your date in the calendar.

Cake tasting boxes and single tier cakes are due in full at booking. 

There is a 50% deposit for all multiple tiered cakes. This deposit is non-refundable if for any reason you need to cancel the cake. This is because we block the date for you once you book. A final invoice will be sent 30 days before the date of delivery. Final payment is due 14 days before delivery. Orders may be cancelled if the final payment is not made. We will reach out to remind you of your final payment. If delivery is within 14 days of booking, then the payment must be made in full at booking. 

Yes. We offer cake tasting boxes once per month. Please place an order prior to the set delivery date. For dates, please see our cake tasting page. Our boxes include 6 flavors. Savor our cakes in the privacy of your own home without the pressure of booking on the spot. Your tasting box will be delivered to you.

Glitter Cake does not imitate another artists work exactly. We will recreate our version of that cake. All cakes are unique, meaning our own cakes created in the past cannot be recreated exactly. All cakes will have slight variation, however we will recreate a design very similar for your big day.

The 50% deposit is non-refundable. The remaining funds are refundable 14 days prior to delivery. All cancellations within 13 days of delivery are non-refundable. 

Glitter Cake uses secure PayPal services. You will receive an invoice via email for deposits and cake balances. Cake Tasting boxes cakes can be ordered and paid for online. 

We offer booking 9 months in advance. 

We currently service the Greater Lansing area. We deliver and set up at venues up to 15 miles from downtown Lansing, Michigan. If your venue is outside of this area, a $5/mile rate will apply for delivery.

Delivering a cake is a fragile endeavor.  The cakes are heavier than they appear and must be temperature controlled. There may also be additional decor needed onsite for wedding cakes. For these reasons, we deliver all orders. 

Unfortunately, Glitter Cake does not offer gluten-free, vegan, nut-free, or egg-free cakes at this time. 

Absolutely! You can select one flavor per tier. Please refer to our flavors page.

Yes, you have up to 14 days before delivery to make any final changes.  Significant changes are at the discretion of Glitter Cake. Change orders will not be accommodated within 13 days of delivery. 

We do not recommend booking a cake before you have booked your venue and date. Glitter Cake can change dates based on availability at our sole discretion. A date change is not guaranteed. 

Cancellations within 13 days of delivery are non-refundable. If for any reason your wedding or event is cancelled within 13 days (our apologies) please consider changing the date and using the cake for another event, such as a birthday. 

We generally require at least 48-hour notice for cupcakes and single tier cakes. If you need an order sooner, please contact us and we will see what we have on-hand. Same day orders are not guaranteed. Please allow at least 72 hours for larger cakes, more if uniquely intricate.  

Glitter Cake will create edible flower or use artificial florals. Please provide any real flowers you would like added to the cake. 

We do not recommend it. Glitter Cake is not responsible for any additions made to the cake. Please be advised that some florals may be toxic or cause allergic reactions. 

We only offer the current menu at this time. Please refer to the selections listed on our flavors page. 

Yes, we offer cupcakes by the dozen. One flavor per dozen.
